ANNOUNCES NEW NAME
SALEM, MASSACHUSETTS

Amicus Legal Funding, LLC announced today that it has filed a Certificate of Amendment with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts officially changing its name to LawFunds, LLC. According to Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel, Andrew T. Savage, Esq., the new name is a reflection of the company`s broadening scope of services and its vision to develop a secondary market for investments in legal recovery assets. "The decision to implement a name and image change at this juncture, especially considering the name recognition and goodwill we have built over the past two years, was a difficult one", adds Attorney Savage. "However, LawFunds, LLC is a name we have been using internally on projects almost since our inception and, as we have grown, has truly come to best represent and describe our company and our vision." In connection with its name change, in March, LawFunds, LLC will institute a new advertisement campaign in Massachusetts designed to familiarize attorneys and clients with its new name and image, culminating with a public introduction of its new name and marketing materials at the Annual Convention of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys in Boston on March 23rd. LawFunds, LLC is a leading national provider of non-recourse funding programs to plaintiffs and their attorneys.
